Hi! I’m Mary Beth, CEO and Creative Director of The Hue-niverse.

I’m an artist and entrepreneur, and over two decades ago, I had an idea to create a line of dolls inspired by the whimsical characters from my childhood. I always felt a little bit out of place as a creative, sensitive child.
I remember the feelings of joy, magic and a sense of belonging that the soft, silly characters from the 70’s brought into my life, and I wanted to share that feeling
with today’s children.

In 2018, I teamed up with two creative friends: Arrolynn Weiderhold, an incredible designer and children’s book illustrator, and Misha Perritt, an amazing seamstress and party stylist. Together, we created The HUE-niverse, a world of retro rainbow rag dolls who each represent a core internal value. It’s my hope that The HUE-niverse inspires children to embrace these values and their unique selves—the things that make the world a more colorful and happy place.

Thank you for being a part of this journey. We’d love to connect and collaborate—let’s create something magical together.
